To all of you who have an obvious appreciation of this record, !!! I grew up `round the corner from Morrissey! Not sure if theres any bearing! Other than his left of centre sense of music, interest! But i would bet a pound to a penny, that he liked this one!! I loved it and eventually became reunited with it via King- Bee records!

Hi Chris, when I was at school me, my friend Anne-Marie, and I believe John Peel on TOTP, all loved this. It is very well executed. Does the song mean anything in particular?

I haven’t heard this song on the radio since 1982. All these ’80s revival radio shows play the same old crap while missing out on forgotten classics like this, they should do some research!

I believe the band hailed from Eastbourne…..commonly known as ‘God’s waiting room” on the South Coast of England (the average age of the population is around 97yo, and all wear elasticated beige clour clothing)!
The Mobiles also had a minor hit after this with a song called “Patrners in Fiction” – I had both on 7 inch singles at one stage but I can’t find this last hit anywhere to download!
LONG LIVE EARLY 80′s MUSIC!
